The word ‘Custom’ when used for draperies and valances means ‘made to fit’ your exact dimensions. But at Spring Crest it means much more. We offer our unique ‘spring pleated’ Spring Crest styles in addition to several more conventional pleated styles and un-pleated designs such as Tab Top and Gathered or Shirred. But ‘custom’ also applies to the techniques of fabrication….how the drapery is assembled. This is especially important since this will determine how the finished treatment will hang, operate, and hold up to everyday use. Fabrics which are not ‘sized’ correctly may sag and drag on the floor, or not open or close correctly. Improperly lined draperies may billow and separate, destroying the pleated look. Improper hems may create undesirable shadow lines.
